this is this weeks challenge
Mix & Match 2 Magnolia Stamp images together to make 1 Image,
Now this could be a simple as ,
Taking a Tilda Stamp with a Basket and removing this and adding a Heart from another magnolia stamp so she is holding that instead of the basket, Or it could be as simple as Tilda's Head on a Magnolia Horse, Have a play and mix & Match your magnolia stamps to come up with a Unique Magnolia Image.

first i had a go at swaping the heads on the witch and wizard and addinf tildas wands star to edwins, this i remembered the books i had as a child were you could change the heads and bodies and feet to make strage people so did this to

today i recieved some amazing pif candy from vikki and the most lovely card. thank you so much i cant wait to use it. im quite new to stamping so its fantastic to have new images to play with and as folr the embossed paper thats great as im a long way of affording that sort of equipment so whoop whoop

i bought my first do crafts goody bag today, i was after flowers and glue any way so couldnt resit im really pleased and will be after more in the future

set the challenge to use her favourite colour green and ribbon this is what i came up with. the glue is still very wet

i did another candle useing the technique on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/C87/
however please note wording prints in reverse DOH!!!

and useing good old tilda stamps. cant wait till i have some spare cash as i want so many more.

i tacked the riboon on useing double sided tape, then secured using head pins threaded with sequins and pearl beads

altered candle tilda magnolia

This is my first attempt a decorating a candle and it was really easy. i stamped the image using stazeon on to cheap tissue paper, coloured using watercolour pencils and placed against the candle. i then wrapped grease proof paper around the candle and pulled tight. i then heated using a heat gun for a few moments and there it was, brilliant. i added stickels glitter and glued some beads. well worth a try.

I cant belive i made a blog yay. Blogs have been a real inspiration to me lately. i have been making cards for two years and im now having ago with jewellery, altered art and scrapbooking. Maria from maria's cards has recently encouraged me to give stamping a proper go and im hooked. especially on tilda and sugar nellie.
