sewing

I was very lucky and recieved my first sewing machine for mothers day. Sadly we were not friends until recently. I have always wanted to sew but have never got on with the machines even at school. However latelt it doesnt seem to growl as much and we are getting to know each other a little better.

Back in june we went to the air show at yeovil and it was fantastic. my older boy Brandon 8 wants a more grown up room not and thanks to me i think is getting into the whole vintage look so i made this can vas and cushion for his new room and he loves it :)

i made this notice board with some vintage fabric and a canvas from a pound shop. the vintage postcards were written to my gran from my grandad durin the war. he was french. the bag charm is a gift for my friends birthday. the bead and button are very old, they were from my mums button box and i remember them from when i was little. they may have been my grans before that
